After a period of consultation with the designers, SiliconDESIGNS Ltd., the Folkboat Association are very pleased to announce the re-launch of their website, www.folkboats.com, on Wednesday, 5th November.

The new design contains a number of extra features, including an improved Classified Adverts section and a much better events calendar. By the end of this month a members’ only section will be incorporated that will contain an expanding technical library and the members’ forum should be open before Christmas.

Class Secretary Eddie Mays said ‘The aim of the new design is to ensure that the members are kept up to date with all that is happening within the Association. The previous site had found it difficult to cope with the demands of both the competitive Nordic racing fleet as well as the diverse and enthusiastic cruising fraternity. We also hope that anyone with an interest in Folkboats will visit the site regularly to see the latest news’.
