At last we managed to organise the right weather for our favourite rally at Newtown creek on the I.O.W.
Six boats attended including a surprise visit from Aida who sailed up from Poole. It very nice to see her again.
Yo-Ho, Borte med Blasten, Kyma, Carlinetta, Sandpiper and Aida all anchored up in Clamerkin Lake and the peaceful afternoon of socialising was rounded off with a barbeque on the beach in a beautiful warm evening with great company, food and wine.
We even laid on a spectacular sunset! A successful event thoroughly enjoyed by all.
We are hoping to see more cruisers at Folkboat Week in Yarmouth from August 14th onwards. Don’t forget, you can call in and ‘rally’ even if you don’t feel like racing.
